Head Chef

We are looking for a new head chef for our Restaurants Litemer and Upp eller Ner in Ystad, Sweden. We welcome someone who has a strong interest in food, a good sense of leadership and appreciates freedom with responsibility.
You will work during both weekdays and weekends and be able to work late nights as well as early mornings. You will need to be able to cope with stress, work in a team but also individually. You should have experience in all areas of the kitchen: hot, cold, patisserie, and scullery as well as front of house. When we ask you to take the lead we want you to be able to do so without hesitation.
Our business includes lunch, conferences, catering, a la carte and private dining events.
We want to develop our already diversified business into something extra and therefore we are looking for someone with international experience, good knowledge in vegetarian, vegan and special diets, food and wine pairing, has a good education in nutrition and a wide knowledge of different cuisines.
It is of high importance that you have good knowledge and understand the importance of cleaning and hygienic routines, can process orders, do stock taking and do menu planning and costing. You should also be well versed in Microsoft and IOS programs.
We want you to be fluent in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
